Born in 1978 to a Navy family in Norfolk, Virginia, Daniel Wood grew to love The United States from the frequent moving inherent to military life. After graduating from high school in Georgia, Daniel left behind his dreams of playing football and basketball to enlist for active service in the United States Marine Corps. In 2001, Daniel became a United States Marine and was attached to 2AAV Battalion. Daniel participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 before being honorably discharged in 2005. Now once again a civilian, Daniel’s need to serve his community had not diminished. He worked at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta before transitioning to law enforcement. Daniel worked with Glynn County Police Department for 5 years. After that, he joined the McIntosh County School Board as a Captain of their police
work and to spend more time with his growing family, Daniel left law enforcement to be a manager for Rose Acre Farms. His dedication and quality reputation as a manager led him to new business opportunities with Hickman Farms in Arizona. Moving his family across the country in 2016, Daniel has grown roots and come to love Arizona, being currently employed as an Executive Protection Agent locally for a private agency in the state.
Daniel has been happily married for 18 years and has 3 boys. His wife homeschools their children and runs a small home-based business. Daniel’s family is a family with Christian values, who enjoys going on hikes, out to eat, and going to the movies together.
